Happy V-day, everyone. Make sure you do something fun today. I was about to spend my v-day not doing anything fun, but I decided to try and make something. It took me like 3 hours because I didn't really know what I wanted it to look like, but I eventually got everything together. And if 3 hours were an exact number, 2 hours and 55 minutes would be when I realized that after all that work, it looks better in black and white.

Oh well. :-p

Valentine's Day is coming up and I thought I'd celebrate. Now if you've seen me on weekend nights, you've probably also heard me singing a slow jam or two. I don't know what it is, but I love that stuff and have coincidentally made two "love song" mixtapes. So here come the re-ups.




The first one is "Cake" from the Abolishing Ignorance series. And for those of you not familiar with african-american vernacular-

To Cake (verb):
to engage in sexual activity
to cuddle
to sweet talk on the phone with your significant other

Also, I'll expand on the Abolishing Ignorance series. I think people are a little close-minded with their music choices, so I started a mixtape series that deliberately mixes different genres, languages, and countries, but sticks to a certain theme. "Cake" in particular, represents 11 different countries and 29 artists in a two part set.

The second mixtape is LoveDigital, released over winter break.



The general theme on this one was pretty much the title of the tape. Electronic sounding music (not limited to autotune) with a sort or r&b twist. I personally recommend Love You Down by Trey Songz off of that one, it's good stuff.

What in God's name was this woman thinking? Innocent young women are going to go to the club and do this... this nonsense. I go out of my way to point these people out and laugh at them; please don't listen to her.

Since last time I gave you an unfinished version of a flyer (the text didn't look good), I thought this time I'd give you something I view as complete.

Delta Sigma Delta (DSD) is kind of an example in case your frat or sorority wants to throw a party or something and you need a flyer.

As far as pricing goes, I've been thinking about it for a while, but I couldn't decide. It depends on how long it takes me to make it really. I guess I can say no more than $25 dollars and likely not less than $15. This is negotiable, just hit me up :-D.

Hopes and DSDreams

Wow, two posts in one day. I usually feel good about myself if I can get two in in a week.

Anyways, I'm tryna start making t-shirts and stuff with my logos and characters on them. Hit me with a comment here or on Facebook if you like them. If people seem to like them enough, I'll try to get some t-shirts/hoodies or whatever printed.

(You get it? Ha ha, ::snort::)


In addition to that, I wanted to give you an example of an event flyer I could make for student groups, individuals, or whoever else wants one. This one is unfinished, but I don't see myself ever finishing it. I made the background too busy and the text doesn't really stand out. In the end, that's what's important when you're designing a party flyer. Remember, if I'm making your ads and stuff, I have a lot of knowledge about ad design in addition to just being able to make stuff. There are certain rules that you have to follow to make sure your client gets their point across and this one just didn't cut the figurative mustard.

Long time no see. Yeah, I know. I don't like posting when I don't have anything exciting to post. Then my post wouldn't be exciting. You know how it is. ;-)

But speaking of exciting, man... this is nostalgia right here. I'm sure I'm not the only one that spent their entire class periods trying to stack that virtual cash dealing virtual drugs. I had this game on my calculator, my phone, and my friends calculators in case it was English class or something and I didn't have my calculator with me.
